Robin Hood Prize Award
For the Greatest Fundraising Idea in 2010
Taking from the rich, giving to the poor... Fundraising has been around throughout the history of humankind. We can read about it in fairytales, in religious and historical texts. The Robin Hood Prize is annually awarded to the best fundraising idea presented during the International Fundraising Festival by its delegates.

Creativity and groundbreaking ideas drive successful fundraising. The goal of this competition is to share, to disseminate, to develop and to follow up on good ideas. The Robin Hood Prize is not awarded for having raised most money, nor for impacting the largest target group, nor for involving most volunteers. The independent Robin Hood evaluation committee looks after unprecedented innovation, breathtaking courage, inspiring humor, daring endeavor, striking esthetics and stunning elegance.
All delegates of the International Fundraising Festival 2011 will have the opportunity to apply their own case or any other case they have heard about from other delegates in course of the Festival and they though "it was the greatest." All suggestions shall be compiled at a public notice board by the reception desk until the end of Thursday´s last session. The winner will be announced during the Thursday evening festival party.
The amount awarded each year depends on the generosity of members of The Robin Hood Fund. This Fund has been established by corporate donors from medium to small businesses mainly from Czech Republic, who decided to support the greatest idea of the year. The amount delegates will be invited to compete for shall be announced at the IFF opening plenary.
